Tenerife

I went to Tenerife with my boyfriend back in December and I thought I would share that with you! I know thats not everyones cup of tea but as it's getting warmer here it's making me want to go on holiday so I have been looking through all of my photos.

So.....here goes! (Sorry for the picture heavy post if that's not what you like.)

This was the view of the island as we flew in to land.

Excuse the wrong date on some of the photos, we wasn't sure how to change the camera settings. This was from the water park Siam Park and the two people on the left of the photo are from TOWIE. I'm not sure of their names though.

One of the best things we did while we were there was go up Mount Teide. The trip we did was called Teide By Night, they take you up to see the volcano, you watch the sunset while they keep topping up your glass with champagne, you have dinner in their restaurant and then you go and look at the stars and the thell you about all the different constellations that you can see. I would defiantly recommend this trip if you ever visit Tenerife.

Oh how I miss sitting by the pool in the sun!

Sorry if this was boring for you all but personally I just love looking through holiday photos, but it does make me a bit sad that I'm in England and not a nice hot country!

Everyday Makeup

So today I'm going to share with you my everyday makeup routine.

First I start with applying a moisturiser all over my face. I am currently using this one from Nivea, I have quite dry skin at the moment and this is the only one that seems to help it. I have also just started using a primer as well after I have used the moisturiser & this defiantly makes my foundation last a lot longer. I've forgotten the name of the one that I have but I'll carry on using it for the next few weeks & then do a review for you all.

I start by applying the foundation all over my face. The one I am using is the No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation, I have repurchased this so many times and I love it. It is defiantly the best foundation I have tried so far. I just use my fingers to blend it in because honestly I'm just too lazy to do it with a brush. Once I am happy with my foundation I apply the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes to give my face a bit extra coverage. I also use a light powder over the top of that but I forgot to take a photo of it. I'm pretty sure the one I use is Rimmel Stay Matte.

Next I apply my mascara, the one I am currently using is Lorel False Lash Sculpt. It makes my eye lashes look really long and thick. Also if I have a bit more time to get ready I will line the tops of my lashes with the Maybelline liquid liner. This is the best liquid liner I have used as the brush is quite short so it is really easy to apply.

Lastly I will fill in my brows with this Maybelline brow pencil. I've had it for so long that I can't read the name of it but they still sell it so it is not hard to find. Then if I remember I will put a little bit of Carmex on my lips because they get very dry and this is the only thing that will help.

I would love to know what makeup you wear on a regular basis. Leave your links below for your every day makeup posts.

Haul

So I went shopping the other day, and thought I would share the few things I got with you.

The first thing was this red top from Primark. It is just a basic red top, the material feels a bit silky, it has quite wide arm holes and only cost £6. I also got a blue one as well but I forgot to take a photo of that because I've already worn it.

The next place I went was New Look where I got the black jeans. They are their Hallie ones, the are the most comfy jeans I have ever owned. They are high waisted, supper skinny and very stretchy so they feel really nice to wear. They were £22.99.

I also popped into Superdrug (because who can go shopping with out looking at makeup?!). I've been running out of eyeliner so I thought I would get a new one while I was in there. It was £4.99.

I also grabbed some of the basic Biore nose strips and they were £5.59.

The last thing I got was a new Carmex lip balm because I've run out of my one & in my opinion it is the best lip balm I have every used.

What have you all been buying recently?

Holiday Plans

Lately I've been think about where I would like to go on holiday this year and looking at different hotels & deals. So I thought I would share some of them with you.

Most of the places I've been looking at have been on the Thomson website because that is generally who I book through.

The first place I found is in Gran Canaria, I have been looking at going in July so it is a little bit more expensive than other times of year.

Image

This is priced at £476 per person for a week around the beginning of July. This price is half board so it includes your breakfast and dinner in the price.

The next place is in Tenerife, I went to Tenerife last year and I really liked it so would like to return again at some point.

Image

It is £498 per person for a week half board at the beginning of July.

The last place is in Lanzarote. I've also been there a few years ago but I like going to Spanish but to be honest as long as it's hot and sunny I'm not really bothered.

This one is £460 per person for one week half board in the beginning of July.

These are all of the places I have found so far and I'm going to carry on looking over the next few weeks. Let me know of any where you're thinking of going or any nice places that you've been to in the past.

Well since then I've been ill on and off for about a month and a half so any time I've not been at work I've been in bed resting. I've finally got a day off tomorrow so I'm going to be working on lots of different things.
